With all the new capability at your fingertips for repairing cracks, the crucial question has changed from "How am I every going to repair this?" to one simple query:  "Is there enough space for my hands and the tools?"  Most of you have discovered that your repair limitations are not coming from physical and environmental considerations rather than technical capability.

We have introduced a line of close quarters right angle tooling you may find very useful when working in tight spots.  The new RA line will help you access cracks in hard-to-reach areas such as cylinder bores and other places where standard drills and taps are too long.

The RA1310AH drill and RA2A2551 driver are for high production.  The RA0080 drill adapter and the RA5009 air ratchet are less expensive tools for those who only want to make a few repairs.

RA1310AH  Close Quarters Right Angle Drill
Intended for high production; Uses 1/4-28 threaded drill bits, 2800 RPM, 0.22 HP
2-1/4" minimum space required

RA2A2551  Close Quarters Right Angle Driver
Intended for high production; Uses 1/4" hex male tooling, 400 RPM maximum speed, easy access reversing button, 360 degree rotatable head, can be used for: power tapping, spotfacing, countersinking, pin installation
2-5/8" minimum space required

RA0080  Close Quarters Right Angle Threaded Drill Adapter
Change any drill into a right angle drill, use with drills up to 2500 RPM, uses 1/4-28 threaded drill bits
2-1/2" minimum space required

RA5009  Close Quarters 1/4" Drive Air Ratchet
Use for tapping & pin installation (not for drilling, spotfacing or countersinking), 200 RPM maximum speed, 6.6" in length, 1/4" square drive, maximum torque 20 ft. lbs.
3-1/2" minimum space required

RA0070 & RA0075  Close Quarters 1/4-28 Threaded Drive Adapters
RA0070, square adapter:
    for use with the square shank L4 countersink and C1 spotfacer
RA0075, hex adapter:
    for use with the hex shank L6 and L8 countersinks and C2F and C3 spotfacers

RA0050 & RA0055  Close Quarters 1/4" Hex Tap Adapters
RA0050, hex tap adapter:
    for use with C1 and L4 taps
RA0055, hex tap adapter:
    for use with C2F and L6 taps

RA0060 & RA0065  Close Quarters 1/4" Hex Sockets

    use to install C1 and L4 stitching pins
