LNS drill stops are
used to control the depth of the lock hole patterns. This is a VERY
necessary step. Do not attempt to "eyeball" your lock hole
pattern depth. By allowing the drill bit to only penetrate to a
predetermined depth, many common drilling errors can be avoided.
The three-piece drill jig set
comes with locating pins. This part number should only be used as a
replacement. If you are just getting started with the L50 locks, go ahead
and purchase the kit. It is less expensive than buying all of the pieces
individually and comes in a black case that you can use to keep all of the
components in one place.

with the L50 locks, purchasing the kit makes the most sense. It is less
