Welcome to the Kits Section
There are many kits available to you. All of them are
discounted from the total individual item price. To determine the best kit
for your needs, read through all the information on our site, think about the
type of parts you repair (or want to repair) and consider the financial
investment you want to make. You can get your feet wet with a
mini-stitching pin kit for a little over $100 US or you can buy the Engine
Rebuilder Kit or Industrial Kit, add some tooling, a Stitchin' Center and end up
spending over $8000.00 US. And, of course, there's everything in between.
Take your time and review this section. Give us a call or send an e-mail
with your needs and we will help you pick what will work best for you. We
know there's a lot of products and sizes to choose from; we're happy to help.
(If you arrived at this page and you are confused, why not
surf to our Home Page, or read about Metal
Stitching and its different components, or hop on over to the main Products
page to orient yourself?)
Mini-Stitching Pin Kits
Each stitching pin has its own mini
kit. There's enough pins and tooling for you to do quite a few inches of
repair. A great way to try it out or to get a small supply of a pin size
you don't use frequently. There are even mini-kits with a combination of
steel and aluminum pins in the same size.
Lock Kits
Each
lock has its own kit. Every thing you need to install locks to achieve a
great repair are in the kit. Normally, you wouldn't purchase a lock kit if
you don't also have stitching pins.
C Series Kits
The
C Series pins are truly unique. Here are some larger kits for each of the
C Series Pins. And if you want the potential of being able to repair
almost any cracked casting you ever encounter, you may want the C Series
Combination kit: the incredible gripping, holding, and pulling ability of
CASTMASTER™ in three sizes in one kit.
Pin Combination Starter Kits
You
see a variety of cracked castings and you want a combination of L Series and C
Series pins, but you don't have the repair volume for a larger combination
kit. Our Pin Combo Start Kit may be just what you're looking for--and you
still have choices. Steel only? No problem. Want to add
aluminum? You bet. Need speed and consistency? Just add the
tooling option. Want it all? You can have it! And don't forget
to look at the Thin Wall Combination Kit, perfect for castings with wall
thicknesses of 0.312" or less.
Head Shop Kits
The
cylinder heads today seem to be getting thinner and more complicated. If
they don't break in the seat area, they will probably break on top. You
are facing more heads with more cracks than you ever thought possible. And
if you can't fix the cracks, well, the whole job may just walk out the
door. Our Head Shop Kit can help you stitch those heads and turn lost jobs
into profit. We have a kit with steel pins, one kit with steel and
aluminum pins, and you can add a tooling option to either one.
Engine Rebuilder Kits
This
is the section for the production engine rebuilder. We add more range and
flexibility to the Head Shop Kit in addition to tooling to speed you up.
Industrial Kits
Here's the kit for the craftsman who
repairs everything from 0.100" to 2" thick. You'll get the power
and range of L Series, C Series and assorted Locks. We take the best of
the previous kits and add even more power, strength and range.
Accessory Kits
Ever have cracks into a diesel water
passage? Our Diesel Head Water Passage Sleeve Kit is perfect for repairing
water passages in GM 6.2 and 6.5 and Navistar 6.9 and 7.3. And how about
repairing down in the valve port of a cylinder head, or just at a steep angle? We have
extension kits to take the hardship out of these repairs.
