This page shows you the part numbers for our cutting and tapping fluid and for our two heat-conductive thread sealants.  (Pricing is being updated.)

If you have arrived at this page and you are confused, here are some pages you can explore that should help explain our process and products:  Metal Stitching, Products.  If you still have questions, you can always pick up the phone and call 800-736-8261 or 209-632-2345 or send us an email.

bulletL750, Cutting and Tapping Fluid
bulletLHC724, sealant formulated for cast iron, steel, brass and stainless steel
bulletLHC623, sealant formulated for aluminum and all press-fit parts

Here's a great product.  A cutting and tapping fluid created to work with cast iron, steel, and aluminum.  Our newest formula for L750 increases drying time, lengthens the life of your tooling, still dries without a residue, and lets you use just one tapping fluid for all your jobs.  And all without the use of 1-1-1 trichlorethane or a low flashpoint.

We're very proud of our sealants.  These sealants are valuable tools to have in your shop.  They cure quickly to save you time between the repair and pressure-testing.  And our sealants conduct heat, eliminating the complications of uneven heat transfer.

LHC724 works well with cast iron, steel, brass and stainless steel.  It has a very low viscosity which lets the fluid flow into small pores and voids with vigorous capillary action.  This provides extra insurance that your repair will pass pressure-testing the first time.

LHC623 is formulated to be used with aluminum, the installation of seats and guides in aluminum heads, and during the installation of locks in any material.  LHC623 is slightly thicker than LHC724 because of an additive that prevents the aluminum from galling.  You will appreciate the way this additive lubricates your press-fit parts.  You can eliminate freezing seats and heating heads before seat installation.  Apply LHC623 and the seats can be driven into place.

Even if they seem like it, our sealants are not magic, just good products (no, make that great)!

bulletImprove heat transfer by filling small voids with micron-sized, thermally-conductive particles
bulletImprove stitching pin thread and lock seal
bulletSeal and retain valve seat inserts - improved heat transfer will increase valve and seat life
bulletSeal and retain cylinder sleeves, bolt hole sleeves, injector tubes, water-cooled valves guides, freeze plugs or any other parts which require a positive seal and heat transfer
bulletEasy to use one-part anaerobic cures in the absence of oxygen
bulletAir space in bottle prevents curing before you use the sealant
